Michelle Hermiston, MD

Dr. Michelle Hermiston is a hematologist at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Benioff Children's Hospital and an associate professor of pediatrics at UCSF Medical College. She is also involved in research at the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, Stem Cell Biology, Regeneration Center, and Immunology Center. As a pediatric blood oncology expert, her specialty is diagnosis and treatment for pediatric blood and lymphoid tissue disease.

Dr. Hermiston's research areas include leukemia, lymphoma and other lymphoid tissue malignant tumor development and mechanism research, and Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH), hemophagocytic lymphocytosis (HLH), lymphoid tissue after transplantation Hyperplastic disease (PTLD) and other different diseases.
