Japan has been the first to start the heavy particle line therapy for cancer in the world, achieving painless, heat free, fearless and noninvasive therapeutic performance, which is completely different from general surgery or chemotherapy.

Founded in 2001, the particle line therapy center of Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, is the only medical facility in the world that can carry out 2 kinds of particle lines, proton line and heavy particle line, and is known to the world with remarkable therapeutic results. Since the establishment of the facility, more than 4500 patients have been treated.

It is now possible to receive more than 100 people for treatment every day. The center is aiming at becoming the leader of clinical particle line therapy in Japan, and promotes the research of case discussion and development and treatment methods to increase the types of cancer that can be treated.
